As the days get a little longer and the flowers begin to bloom, we’re feeling extra grateful for the incredible community that keeps Focus4Hope thriving. March was full of heartwarming moments, new connections, and meaningful progress – all made possible by you. Whether you’re a supporter, sponsor, volunteer, or friend, we couldn’t do this without you.

In March, your donations allowed us to…
A Look Back at March – Powered by Your Kindness
March was bursting with energy, and thanks to your incredible support, we were able to reach so many people across our community with care, compassion, and practical help. Here’s a snapshot of what you helped us achieve:
- 28 crisis parcels delivered – supporting 28 adults and 19 children during tough times
- 2 SEND Support sessions – creating safe, welcoming spaces for families
- 3 senior trips – giving 45 older adults the chance to get out, socialise and enjoy themselves
- Afternoon Tea fun – with 80 seniors sharing laughter, conversation and cake
- Villain Senior Tea party – a playful twist that brought 20 seniors lots of joy
- 34 households accessed our Social Supermarket – making food more affordable
- 104 attendees joined our Monday Coffee & Craft Clubs – building friendships through creativity
- 320 hot meals served through our Homeless Feed – offering nourishment and connection
- 135 Community Warmth meals shared – warming both hearts and bellies
- 3 starter kits provided for new homes – helping people take their next step with dignity Whether you gave time, money, skills or simply cheered us on, you’re a vital part of this journey. Thank you for standing with us.

Jo has been an invaluable member of our Monday morning Craft Club, bringing creativity, kindness, and fresh ideas to every session. Her enthusiasm and positive energy create a welcoming and inspiring space for all who attend.

Business of the Month
Savile Masonic Lodge
A huge THANK YOU to Savile Masonic Lodge for their incredible generosity and ongoing support. They have been fundraising for Focus4Hope throughout the year, and we are thrilled to share that their latest donation was an incredible £1,120!
In addition to their fundraising efforts, they have also chosen us as their Charity of the Year!
We Opened Our Second ‘Replenish’ Shop!
We are thrilled to announce that last week, we officially opened our second Replenish preloved clothing shop in Elland!
It was a fabulous afternoon, which we were honoured to celebrate with our community and the Mayor of Calderdale, who officially cut the ribbon. Replenish on the Bridge is located inside Project Colt in Elland and continues our mission of offering high-quality preloved clothing while raising funds for Focus4Hope. Kids Eat fo Less This Half Term!
With school holidays underway, we want to ensure families in our community are aware of places where children can eat for free or at a reduced price. VSI Alliance recently shared a great Facebook post, detailing all the places kids can eat for under £1 this half term.
Here are some options:
ASDA CAFÉ – Kids eat for £1 all day, every day (no adult spend required)
BREWERS FAYRE / BEEFEATER – Two kids eat free with one paying adult
BURGER KING – Kids eat free with an adult meal (via the app, until April 20)
DUNELM (PAUSA CAFE) – Kids get 1 mini main, 2 snacks & a drink FREEwith a £4 adult meal
IKEA – Kids eat from 95p every day from 11 AM
MORRISONS CAFÉ – Spend £5 on an adult meal and get 1 free kids meal
PIZZA HUT – Kids eat free buffet (April 7 – 27, until 3 PM, with £10 spend)
SIZZLING PUBS (Armytage Arms, Brighouse) – Kids’ main meals £1 with adult meal (school holidays: family meal deals for £16 available)
TABLE TABLE (The Aspley, Huddersfield) – Two kids eat free breakfast with one paying adult
THE RANGE – Kids eat free until April 21
Upcoming Events at Focus4Hope
As always, we have a number of event taking place across West Yorkshire, including Afternoon Tea meetups, Reminiscent Cinema events, Craft Clubs, Winter Warmer Cafés, and Homeless Feeds. These gatherings provide a great way to connect with the community while supporting those in need.
