January 2026 Newsletter

With 2025 now behind us, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported Focus4Hope throughout the year and for all your donations, support, events you’ve helped facilitate. We really couldn’t do it without you.

Our Big Christmas Project was a huge success last year and only made possible by the generosity of local businesses, organisations and individuals. Thanks to your kindness, we were able to support 446 families and bring comfort and joy to many at Christmas.

Throughout December, our community lunches continued to grow, and our Annual Seniors Christmas Lunch brought people together to share food, laughter and connection, ensuring no one felt alone at Christmas.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue building on this work and reaching even more people with care, dignity and hope.

In 2025 your donations allowed us to…

A Month Powered by Your Generosity

2025 a year filled with kindness and connection, and with your amazing support we were able to touch so many lives with creativity, comfort, and care. Here’s a look at what we achieved together:

  • 3272 homeless meals were handed out to people in Leeds
  • 853 attendees joined our Monday Coffee & Craft Clubs – building friendships through creativity
  • Supported 551 households with our social supermarket
  • Hosted 384 elderly days out
  • 80 people attended our Christmas dinner
  • Handed out 293 crisis parcels to those in need
  • 1786 Community Warmth meals shared – warming both hearts and bellies
  • Hosted 240 Afternoon Teas and cinema trips with seniors
  • 78 starter kits provided for new homes – helping people take their next step with dignity

Whether you gave time, money, skills or simply cheered us on, you’re a vital part of this journey. Thank you for standing with us.

Volunteer of the Month

Robina Fogg

We’re delighted to celebrate Robina as our Volunteer of the Month for December!

Robina is a real star at Focus4Hope. Always happy to jump in and lend an extra pair of hands, she gives her all in everything she does. Her energy, positivity, and dedication make a huge difference to our team and the work we do for the community.

Business of the Month

Pennines Pneumatic Services

We’re proud to recognise Pennines Pneumatic Services as our Business of the Month for December.

Their incredible support during December played a key role in helping us deliver our Big Christmas Project and support families in need.

A huge thank you to the whole team for your generosity, commitment, and community spirit.

It’s not too late to get involved or sponsor The Big Bradford Bulls Sleepout 2026!

Join us on 30th January at Odsal Stadium, proudly sponsored by La Romantica Beds, for a powerful night under the stars as we raise vital funds for Focus4Hope and the Bradford Bulls Foundation.

This is your chance to take on a meaningful challenge that directly supports vulnerable people across West Yorkshire. Grab your sleeping bag, rally your friends, and get ready to make a real difference.

If you would prefer to stay warm at home, you can still support the cause by donating. Every contribution helps.

The evening begins at 6pm, with entertainment throughout the night before we settle down to try and get some sleep. Hot food will be available to purchase, and you are welcome to bring your own. The bar will also be open for drinks.

Sleeping out in the January cold is not easy. It is a real test of resilience and compassion, offering just a glimpse of what many people face every night. As a thank you, everyone who takes part will receive a free ticket to the first Bradford Bulls game of the season.

It will be cold (very cold!)
But together we will stand in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness across West Yorkshire.

Join us, make an impact, and help change lives.

Every other Friday, our team is in Leeds City Centre supporting over 100 rough sleepers with hot meals, drinks, essentials - and sleeping bags.
