July was a month where we celebrated together at Focus Fest 2025, enjoyed sunshine and laughter at our Family Fun Day, and taken our wonderful SEN families for a day at the seaside, complete with fish and chips, ice creams and arcade fun.
We’ve also been out in Leeds city centre, serving 90 members of our homeless community with sandwiches, hot drinks, snack packs, hygiene packs and clean underwear, offering not just essentials, but dignity and warmth. As always, we gathered around the table for a delicious community meal, kindly funded by Northern Gas Networks, proving once again that sharing food is a powerful way to connect.
From music and laughter to outreach and care, July has been a month that truly shows what’s possible when people come together. Thank you for being part of it, here’s to more compassion and connection in August.

A Month Powered by Your Kindness
July was bursting with energy, and thanks to your incredible support, we were able to reach so many people across our community with care, compassion, and practical help. Here’s a snapshot of what you helped us achieve:
19 crisis parcels delivered – supporting 19 adults and 18 children during tough times
SEND Support sessions – Continued our ADHD course, supporting Parents and Carers.
40 children and parents/carers attended the SEND seaside trip to Filey.
Afternoon Tea fun – with seniors sharing laughter, conversation and cake and Cinema Trips with 27 seniors
57 households accessed our Social Supermarket – making food more affordable
69 attendees joined our Monday Coffee & Craft Clubs – building friendships through creativity
We supported 280 homeless people with essentials
164 Community Warmth meals shared – warming both hearts and bellies
3 starter kits provided for new homes – helping people take their next step with dignity

If mealtimes are feeling a bit tricky this summer, we are here to help. There is no judgement and no criteria to meet, we simply want to offer support to families who could use a helping hand.
Every Friday, we provide free food parcels to make mealtimes a little easier. All you need to do is reach out to us to arrange your collection.

Dress for the life you want to create, in pieces that not only transform your look but also have the power to change lives.
We will celebrate sustainability, reinvention, and community-conscious shopping, while raising essential funds for our charity Focus4Hope, which supports vulnerable local families.
Our headline sponsor (£2,000) will receive prominent promotion, 10 tickets, and a chance to speak. Sponsors (£500) will also be featured in our promotions and receive five tickets.

July Event Round-up!
July was an exciting month at Focus4Hope, packed with fun, laughter and memorable experiences for our community.
We celebrated at Focus Fest 2025 and enjoyed our Family Fun Day, bringing together families and friends for games, music and sunshine. Our SEND children and their parents and carers had a fantastic day out at Filey, made possible thanks to the continued support of the National Lottery Community Fund, creating wonderful seaside memories.
With the same continued support, our seniors enjoyed a delightful trip to Valley Gardens in Harrogate, followed by a lovely lunch, a day full of connection and joy.
