May 2025 Newsletter
As we enjoy and make the most of the warmer days, we’ve really enjoyed getting out in our community and helping some of the elderly and lonely who use our services feel more connected. Our hearts are full of gratitude for every one of you who makes what Focus4Hope do possible. From feeding the homeless, to enjoying tea and cake, April has been filled with connection, recognition, and community spirit.
This month, we’re reflecting on:
VE Day Community Lunch: We brought people together to honour the 80th anniversary of VE day with food, friendship, and remembrance. This was a really special day reflecting on such an important day in history.
Mental Health Awareness Week: Mental wellbeing is woven into all we do – from Focus4SEN support for SEND families, to helping the homeless with warmth and conversation, and hosting community meals and senior outings to tackle loneliness. If you feel like you need some extra support, reach out to our team who can listen and help point you in the right direction for further support.
None of what we do could be possible without you – our incredible supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and friends. Let’s celebrate these moments and look ahead to what’s next!
In April, your donations allowed us to…

Business of the Month
Together Housing
Together Housing, one of the largest housing associations in the North of England, is a long-standing and valued partner of Focus4Hope. They regularly refer vulnerable residents to us for essential food support, crisis parcels, and community services – recognising that true support goes beyond just housing.
Their generous funding contributions throughout the year have helped us continue delivering these vital services. We’re incredibly grateful for their ongoing commitment and the real difference they make to the lives of those we support.
