We’re delighted that our amazing Patrons Carol & Bob Bridgestock have agreed to this very special meet & greet event ahead of their new book launch in August. The Bridgestocks will be talking about their best selling books and also signing copies!

As numbers are limited to just 20 people, there will be 2 separate events on the same day, both held at the fantastic Nefarus Cocktail & Bistro, who already support Focus4Hope through their Book & Brew events.

R.C. Bridgestock is the writing partnership of Bob and Carol Bridgestock, whose compelling, authentic crime fiction draws on almost fifty years of combined experience with West Yorkshire Police, one of the largest police forces in the UK.

Together, they are the authors of the DI Jack Dylan and DI Charley Mann series, and have worked as storyline and police procedure consultants on major television dramas including the BAFTA winning Happy Valley, Scott & Bailey, and The Beast Must Die.

Their latest novel, Split Second, published by Orenda Books, brings together DI Jack Dylan and DI Charley Mann in a gripping new series.

They have also been recognised internationally, including being characterised in the Dick Tracy Hall of Fame in the United States.

Carol Bridgestock spent seventeen years working across a wide range of operational and supervisory roles within policing, including duties management, court file preparation and major incident administration. Her experience brings a detailed understanding of how cases are built behind the scenes, alongside the human impact of crime on officers and families.

Bob Bridgestock spent thirty years as a career detective, rising to Detective Superintendent and leading major investigations into murder and serious crime. In the final years of his service alone, he led twenty six murder enquiries, alongside numerous major incidents and more than fifty suspicious deaths. He also served as a police trained negotiator in cases involving kidnap, extortion, terrorism and suicide intervention, and delivered criminal law training to officers from the UK and overseas.
